Mapúa Library launches Britannica Online V Card promo

Join the online promo of Mapúa Library in Intramuros to get Britannica Online V Cards for FREE!

The online promo will run until the end of September this year and it is for Intramuros students only. Students who are currently enrolled and are registered library users are qualified to join.

Just follow the mechanics below:

  1. Visit either Facebook or Twitter account of Mapua Library.
  2. A trivia question about the Library will be posted on these social networking sites every day from Monday to Friday. Be sure to include your student number when the answering the questions.
  3. The first 2 students to correctly answer the question either on Facebook or Twitter will be declared winners. There will be a total of 2 winners a day – 1 from Facebook and 1 from Twitter.
  4. The correct answer and the name of the winners will be posted on these sites the following day.
  5. If no one answers the question correctly, the number of winners will increase in the succeeding day. For instance, if the question posted on Facebook on Monday remains unanswered, the first 4 students to correctly answer Tuesday’s question will all be declared winners. The same procedure applies to Twitter.
  6. A total of 10 V Cards will be given away every week.
  7. The winners can claim their V Cards every Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the ERIS section. Present your validated CM and MIT ID to Ms Angeline Odilao.
  8. Please note that a student can only win once.

Britannica Online V Cards give you remote access to the database of Britannica Online, a provider of concise and reliable information that you can use in your research. A V Card is good for 1-year access.
