Pathfinder
Pathfinder is a list of resources available for a specific topic. Primarily, the list is composed of library resources such as print books, eBooks, eJournals, and theses. Resources such as websites and videos from reliable open access sites are also added to the list. Pathfinder covers materials frequently referred to by the students, including those with recent publication years.
Mapúa Library creates Pathfinders intended to guide the students and researchers of Mapúa University in conducting a literature search on a specific topic.

Mapúa Library identifies a specific topic based on the following:
- Most search keywords in Primo (discovery service)
- Topic with limited research studies based on the library’s Theses collection
