All library users are assigned their individual library accounts. This serves as an online version of their library cards with additional features.
My Library Account provides access to the following:
To access, visit: Mapúa Library One Search and select the My Library Account button.
You will be prompted with a login page. The default Patron/Alternative ID Number is your Student/ Employee/ Faculty ID Number, and the PIN is the last 4 digits.

There are two ways to perform searching using Mapúa Library One Search: Basic Search and Advanced Search.
Basic Search
You can perform a Basic Search thru the search box from the Mapúa Library Website
or you may go directly to: Mapúa Library One Search
Key-in any keyword into the search box, you can also narrow your search to the suggested options
Search ALL is the default, you may opt to search for items under the Library Holdings (Printed/Physical) or Online Resources. The All option displays all related resources available from both Library Holdings and Online Resource. The Library Holdings option searches all items from the collections of Mapúa Library Department only. Online Resources option displays related scholarly resources both from the collections of Mapúa Library and from Open Access contents.
Advanced Search
The advanced search allows you to specify the details of your search, i.e. field, material type, language, publication year, etc. Add New Line feature allows the user to add other search details, you can add up to 7 lines in one search.
Boolean Searching
Searching can be filtered using the BOOLEAN OPERATORS/COMMAND
OR Command is used to expand by including synonyms
Example: Wastewater OR Sewage
Will display materials related to both wastewater and sewage
AND Command is used to narrow search results
Example: Wastewater AND Treatment
Will display all items related to wastewater treatment only.
NOT Command is used to exclude unwanted records from the search results
Example: Wastewater NOT treatment
Will display all items about wastewater except those covering wastewater treatment
